? Little Stars – A High-Energy 2000s Rock Musical for Young Performers! ?

Lights, camera… action!
Get ready to relive the glory days of early 2000s reality TV in Little Stars – a rock-and-roll musical that’s bursting with humour, heart, and throwback vibes. Perfect for senior primary, middle school, and lower high school performers (and drama groups too), this show parodies the much-loved Australian Idol format with hilarious results!

Follow five young finalists—and their over-the-top, stage-struck parents—as they compete on the national hit talent show Little Star. From dodgy judges and eccentric presenters to backstage rivalries and drama-filled auditions, there’s just as much chaos offstage as on. Add a live studio audience and a killer 2000s-style rock score, and you’ve got a show that’s as fun to watch as it is to perform.

With plenty of room for customisation, directors can include as many singing, dancing, and comedy acts as they like in the televised scenes. And if you don’t have a live band? No problem—professional-quality backing tracks are ready to roll!

Why directors love it:
? Hilarious parody of Idol-style TV shows
? Flexible casting & performance options
? Catchy, crowd-pleasing rock soundtrack
? Ideal for schools, drama clubs & youth theatre
